Prof. Dr. Necati Polat General Overview

After his undergraduate education in Istanbul University Faculty of Law (1981-1985), he completed his Doctorate at Nottingham University in England (1989-1994). He has been a faculty member at METU International Relations Department since 1995.
He has worked as an advisor in the arbitration processes of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA) and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).
He has completed many international research and worked as a visiting lecturer and a researcher in Cambridge University and University of Kent in England, Edinburgh University in Scotland, University of Tours in France, University of Bonn in Germany, University of Southern Denmark in Denmark, University of Florence in Italy; He has taken part as a project selector in European Union research programs in Brussels many times. In addition his publications in Turkish, he has many books and academic articles published by reputable academic publishers in the USA and the UK.
